A Break at the Border

From all the pictures that I took on our recent trip to Alberta, this one stands out as one of my favorite. It was really the only opportunity we had to spend time for a family picture. After traveling in the car for hours on end through the unchanging landscape of Saskatchewan, everyone was ready for more than a pit stop!

In taking this picture, I just made sure I could see everyone’s heads. It’s ok that everyone is so small because there’s more to the picture than the people.
