No Need to Edit . . . Sometimes

After returning from CAPTURE North Carolina, I headed out with my family to attend the Virginia FEW Conference in Brandy Station, Virginia. There’s a ton I could say about our stay, but in summary I must say that it certainly was an encouraging weekend because the name of Christ was uplifted and glorified. On Sunday, there was the largest gathering of folks at the home church there then I had ever seen before!

One thing that is unique about both of these shots is that I did absolutely no editing to either of them. This isn’t normal because there is usually always some tweak that needs done; a crop, a hint of contrast, a touch of vibrance. But I think a good philosophy of taking better pictures is to always strive to get as good a shot as is possible with the camera so you don’t have to do very much editing later on. Like I said, I don’t normally post unedited pictures, but I just thought it was unique that there happened to be two from this particular excursion. It helps to have awesome subjects.

Well, I’m off to the airport to catch a flight to Anchorage for CAPTURE Alaska! I’m stoked!
