Over the last few days in Alaska, there were a whole lot of places we scouted for next year’s CAPTURE Alaska workshop. Moving into September, the rainy season started to let up, but for the most part, Alaska continued to hide the essence of it’s glory in the clouds.

That’s right! Sunflowers in Alaska! And talking about sunflowers, I’m now focusing my sites on Kansas. With all it’s stunning beauty, taking “wow” pictures in Alaska may be considered easy. Kansas takes it a step further; if you can learn to take “wow” pictures in a place like Kansas, you can take “wow” pictures anywhere!
