On Assignment: “Eagerly Opening A Gift”

by | Feb 5, 2021 | Assignments | 2 comments

It’s fun the things I find myself getting into when I have no choice but to shoot the next assignment! Filmed in some places I’ve never filmed before, here’s what happened in my attempt to shoot this month’s Shoot to Serve Photo Assignment, a child Eagerly Opening A Gift!

For the first time ever, I don’t have any photos to share! For now, at least. Smile Will be sure to let you know what happens next!

Until then, are you going to try shooting this assignment yourself? Why not?! How else are you going to learn a new type of photography that you’re not already good at? What if the question wasn’t “if” I will shoot this assignment, but "when" and "how" I’ll shoot it?!

It’s funny because no matter how much I don’t want to shoot an assignment, guess what? You guys are counting on me. I kinda have to shoot it! Smile Lifeline Gifts is just a startup, and they're looking forward to using our photos! Let's give them our best.

Going Deeper

This month’s Premium Training isn’t exactly directly related to photographing bubbly kids, but I do know that it is directly applicable to a vast number of photographers out there. I’ve been wanting to put together this training for a long time.

You're most likely into photography because you love taking pictures. But as you’ve probably figured out, there's more to photography than just taking pictures. In today's digital age, there's a lot that needs to be done in post-processing. In the old days, "post-processing" was done in a darkroom. Today, what does your digital "darkroom" look like? Are you able to process all the photos you take? Are you organized? Do you enjoy the part after taking pictures? In short, do you have a winning post-processing setup?!

That’s what this month’s Premium Training is all about. Are you implementing all 4 Components of a Winning Post-Processing Setup?
