It’s been a long time in the making. Ever since Lenspiration started, you could say.
An article here, a blog post there, forum discussions everywhere in between.
Each article, blog post, and forum topic meet the need of the moment. But what about weeks, or months, or even years later? We’ve found that if content and resources are not organized, they’re not easy to access. They just sit there…on the back shelf, as helpful as ever, but virtually untouched.
So, we started organizing all the past, portraiture-related content! At first, we listed all the resources under the different genres of portraiture so they were not lost in the deep recesses of the past. And that was great! Now all the portraiture training resources were in one spot.
But as resources kept adding on and on, it just became a very, very long list. Organized, but unappealing.

So, we decided it was time to rethink things.
We brought on our web designer, David, and brainstormed some ideas. And got to work! And the Portraiture Library was born! Lenspiration’s new portraiture training section is now both visually attractive and easy to navigate.
And it just went live this week!
Organized into 6 main portraiture categories, each category is further divided into subtopics.

When viewing resources in a subtopic, easy navigation to other subtopics in that category is at the bottom of each page.

Pretty neat, if we say so ourselves. 😉
Just like before, this new way of navigating Lenspiration’s portraiture resources is accessible to Lenspiration members only.
Of course, if you’re the type who loves to spend oodles and oodles of time on a search engine trying to locate resources on Lenspiration to help you find what you need about portraiture, then yeah, no need to access the Portraiture Library through the membership.
But if you prefer streamlined efficiency and easy access to everything, feel free to jump on board! Remember, you can always check things out for free with the one-month free trial.
And, for you members! There’s nothing extra you need to do. Just head over to lenspiration.com/proposing and check out the new Portraiture Library!
As we (and you!) continue to add content to Lenspiration, the Portraiture Library will continue to grow. Articles, blog posts, forum discussions, webinar snippets, and training videos. We’ll keep adding to the library!
