I believe you can only alter an existing post for a short time immediately after it has been posted. There should be a little “Edit” option on the top bar of your reply. Correct me if I’m wrong!
Yes, that’s how I managed to attach so many photos when you’re only supposed to be able to attach two. 🙂 I figured that one out accidentally. 🙂 But that option does seem only to be available right away.
Not on my computer. All I see is a little box saying “Does this work?”
That’s interesting. I can see the last photo just fine.
Yep, you can edit for a short time period, and then the Edit button goes away… But that doesn’t mean that you can’t edit your post any more. 🙂 I found out a little URL trick that lets me edit it any time that I want. Not long ago I edited a post that I made several months ago, and it worked! 🙂
So how did you do that? Or is it a secret hacking technique? 🙂 Later: Ha, Ha! My brother just showed me how! That’s neat!
I do agree embedding in Lenspiration is ideal but the question is, @buddingphotographer, how do you get the embed link? ie, how did you get src=”https://files.lenspiration.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/14182906/20141003_ELF_3674.jpg?17ee50″ earlier?
I don’t know how buddingphotographer got it, but I got that link by going to the post that contains that photo, and hovering my mouse over it. Some writing appeared down in the bottom left corner of the screen. (There is probably some technical name for that writing…) I memorised that and typed it into the “img” tag. I’d be interested in hearing if there is some other way. That kind of jargon doesn’t stick in my brain very well! (Though after doing the first one, I just copied and pasted, and simply altered the few digits that differed from picture to picture.)
