That’s what Jonathan thought.
It seems you do need the .jpg file, as @buddingphotographer said, to see the photo in Firefox – which is possible from a public post on Google+, apparently. (That’s what we did to get the first two photos.)
Once a photo is uploaded, I can open it, right-click on it, and select “Copy Image Link” and paste it to embed it into the post.
That would be a lot simpler than memorising it! 🙂
Everyone, I’ll look into lifting the “upload only 2 pictures” limit and see if there’s a better way to upload pictures to your posts!
