Thanks Hannah! Thank you for shooting that winter trail for me! Unfortunately, since the VP’s are made in a landscape rather than in a portrait view, I had some difficulty trying to find a crop that would work well. It was honestly more the fault of the scene than the photo though, as those trees only really work in a portrait view! I really like those fall stairs you submitted, but I’d need to try and crop it a little bit to try and keep them in the main composition of the VP. There is a problem however. When I imported all of these shots into Pixelmator, I discovered that all of these photos are below the resolution I need for the VP’s without cropping the photos… Do you happen to have any of these shots in a higher resolution, particularly the stairs?
Also, if you take your photos in the RAW or DNG format, I have the capability to edit them, even though you can’t submit it though the forum. We’ve been having quite the discussion about that here: https://www.lenspiration.com/forums/topic/opportunity-versepic-city-on-a-hill/page/2/ . If you do have that shot of the stairs in RAW, you can send it to me though this Dropbox link: https://www.dropbox.com/request/w5rf4abOpaPBxE31JuOX . You don’t need to have a Dropbox account to submit the file, as the link will just take you to a file uploader.
If you don’t have a higher resolution photo of the stairs, I may try using the painting process to upscale the shot, as it didn’t look great blurred… Alternitavely, I may need to find another photo… Sorry about that… Thank you for your submissions though! I appreciate your helpfulness!
