Yes, I definitely would recommend the yn-560 III as a cheap flash. I’ve had two eventually fail, but you can get them dirt cheap on ebay. Flash stands are not too expensive either. The best option however… shooting outside just before sunset, or after sunrise. Just make sure you have everything ready early. Soft shadows in portraits add artistic touch when used properly.
