I just want to say a BIG thankyou for explaining how to do that! It wasn’t so hard after all and now pretty much all my photos are backed up on a hard drive. What a relief! 😀 I’m now enjoying empty SD cards! 🙂 Now, I just have to put them on my second hard drive, which I hope to do this week!
I do have another question though, in regard to Lightroom catalogs. How do I back them up? Can I cut it and put it on my hardrive or is that going to seriously confuse Lightroom?! 🙂 Is there a way that I can have the Lightroom catalog on my hardrive so that I could open it on any computer that I want to? The normal laptop that I use might be on its last legs, so to speak, so I want to be able to access the catalog on a different device plus have it backed up. 🙂
