And here is another update I just got from Margret that I wanted to share with everyone:
I am really struggling to write this book, and it makes me feel that I am much farther out than I first expected. It is just extremely
emotionally draining, so I tend to step away for days and even weeks at a time. The other thing is that I am now uncertain of the direction for publishing. Since a past book hasn’t sold well, I’m unsure if I should attempt to go the traditional route which, of course, would place me at the mercy of the publisher, and I would no longer have sole discretion for all things publication related.
First of all, we can be praying for her as she writes the book! It’s obviously a work from her heart, intended to reach the hearts of others with like needs, and not necessarily meant to be a “best seller”.
Thus, she’s not sure how she’s going to publish it. Due to this uncertainty, she can’t promise that she will actually be able to choose any of our pictures. She would like to, and will if possible, but she just wanted to let us know that future of the book is more uncertain than she originally thought.
So, interpret this as you will, but I’m still going to shoot for it! I’ve already learned so much through this op and I’m going to continue to shoot to serve and learn.
The $75 remuneration and December 23 deadline will continue to be in effect.
