Here are a few pictures that I took with this verse in mind. I really enjoyed doing this… it caused me to meditate on this verse quite a bit, which proved to be a great blessing!
With the first two, I was trying to illustrate the idea of being strong and courageous despite uncertainty, walking with trust where the Lord leads: He is “with thee whithersoever thou goest.”
In the next picture, I was trying to capture the idea of contrast, as mentioned in your first idea.
The final picture was an attempt to illustrate contrast AND the omnipresence of God. 🙂
