I have been looking at this picture over and over trying to figure out why it doesn’t “pop” to me. I think it’s 2 things….
First off, if it was me, I really wish there was tons of color from an amazing sunrise/set in this shot! 🙂
Secondly, while I love the concept of layers and I see what you were trying to accomplish, to me it looks like each “layer” is blocking the view of the next “layer”. I would like there to be a way to have the layered look but not feel blocked by it. Plus, I don’t know that I would’ve noticed the layers if you hadn’t mentioned that was what you were trying to capture.
But wow, what a view to have from your back yard! All I can see from my back yard is trees! 😀
