It sounds like you have the right equipment to me… The 50mm will probably be what you need to shoot the most with. Is it a 50mm F/1.8? I would recommend reading up on baby posing, which is a big element of newborn photography. The reflector will definitely be a good thing to use, especially if you’re doing the photoshoot outside.
Will it be indoors or outdoors?
