Is this photo cropped down considerably? It feels a little grainy for ISO 200. A layer mask could take care of this quickly (in editing programs that support masks of course). I would reposition slightly to make sure it was separated completely from the background in terms of light values (ie. no dark area close to its head). A direct side-view of the subject makes it appear a little static; the angle of the pole helps with that, and the fact that the subject is setting at an angle to it.
