Nice shots! The second one is my favourite as I’m rather partial to B&W images!
A few thoughts….
1) Both photos strike me as a bit grainy. I’m guessing you boosted your ISO auto due to poor lighting in your bedroom? (This happens to me all the time!) If possible, maybe try bringing it down a bit and utilize extra lighting?
2) Photo #1 strikes me as more of a snapshot. Your pose is good, but maybe try eliminating the curtain on the right, straightening the shot so the window doesn’t look crooked, and then brighten yourself up as you’re a bit hard to see comepared to the brightness outside.
3) Photo #2 as I mentioned is my favourite! I love your B&W choice as well as your expression! 😀 A few suggestions…try eliminating the curtain on the top right of the photo; compositionally – shift your camera a tiny bit to the left in order to not cut off your right hand; and maybe try bringhtening up the right side of the picture as it appears more shadowy.
Over all, well done! Oh, and I must add that it’s nice to know I’m not th only one who does crazy/creative things all for the sake of a picture!
