Nice photos, Naomi! Your house looks so pretty covered in snow. 🙂 We don’t really get snow like that in Australia, so that looks pretty amazing! We serve an amazing Designer!
Personally, I’m not so keen on the one were you’ve de-saturated the house. I think it looks a bit fake, but it was a creative idea! In the painting of it, you’ve ended up with a sort of white ‘glow’ around the edges of your house. If you were to paint it again, you might want to make the brush a bit smaller around the edges and be really careful to only go on the house and not slip into the sky.
My favourite edit of your shot is image 2. I feel like image 3 is a bit over-exposed. I had a quick go at editing your picture and I’ve attached what I’ve come up with. It was hard to do a really good job of the editing, because I don’t have the original file. So, it’s a bit rough and I didn’t spend to long on it! 🙂
My general thoughts on composition are that I really like how you’ve placed the main subject on a third. Your image is simple, with one clear/main subject and is balanced with the trees on the left. So, great job with composition! 🙂 A bit more space on the right could’ve been nice, but overall it looks great! It would been nice to have the car moved if possible, but I understand that sunrises don’t wait around for the technical side of things! 😉 Maybe you could try to remove it with the spot removal tool in Lightroom. Also, maybe you could remove a couple of the little distractions such as the path in the bottom right corner, the posts and some of the other lines and imperfections in the snow.
As to tips in regards to noise reduction, James has a good video explaining about it here (as long as you’re a member of the ‘Click’, which I’m pretty sure you are! 🙂 ) – https://www.lenspiration.com/video/how-apply-noise-reduction/
Keep up the good work! I like this shot! 😀
