@jamesstaddon, it’s amazing what a little time will do! I haven’t looked at this image in a couple of weeks.
When I shot it, I thought it was amazing, but now I’m getting that meh feeling when I look at it. You’re right, there are a lot of little tiny distractions, but not a very strong subject… that’s a problem I have a lot of.
I have a shot I took of the pier earlier that evening… perhaps it would look better as there aren’t nearly as many stars and not nearly as much light pollution. I’ll revisit the forum and post it.
