My main thought compositionally is that the walkway on the pier essentially merges with the horizon
I see what you mean – shame I didn’t take a picture with my composition adjusted slightly.
I also really like the progression from bottom to top of tones: warm (sand), cool (water), warm (sunset), cool (sky beyond).
Hadn’t thought of that! It’s always really interesting hearing the different things that stick out to people. 🙂
