One interesting thing about Naomi’s piano photos: She had to ask Annabelle and me to hold up a dark sheet in front of other things in the room in order to block the reflection of them. The highly-polished piano was like a mirror! The pedal harp in particular was “painted” all across the front. But holding up the sheet worked! Now I wish I had moved MORE things out of the other room (or covered them with a dark sheet) that tended to reflect on the other angle of the piano. There is so much to watch for when photographing things in a real room. And yet, it feels better to have the warmth of home in the pictures.
