Thanks for your advice and blessings in the New Year!
The proposal photoshoot actually took place the afternoon you replied, but I didn’t read it until the day after. However, I was thankful to find out that my sister, Allie, and I did almost every little thing you said to do, which reassured us that it was handled well, even though we hadn’t ever seen, let alone photographed, a proposal. đ We both praised the LORD that the lighting was beautiful and we were able to capture more than enough photos of the couple. God was so good in allowing everything to work out so smoothly!
So the story goes…we met with the guy the day before and hammered out the major details, which was so necessary. Allie and I were both well hidden for the special moment and captured it on both of our cameras (so helpful to have a second photographer from a different angle!) and then I took the first photos of the couple afterwards – a mini engagement photoshoot – and she had so many different poses she wanted captured, which made it easy for me. After a little while and tons of pictures later, we finished up in around 45 minutes. It was a good experience for us, but the most nerve-racking photoshoot I’ve ever done! Haha.
Thanks, again, for taking the time to reply to my question. I appreciate it!
