Certainly! For the Event Photography workshops, the most important thing is that you already have a program pre-installed for editing pictures during the workshop. Whether you use Lightroom or Aperture or some open source program doesn’t matter as much. I personally use Lightroom because I have found it to be the best program for my needs, but I know that Aperture may be considered a Lightroom equivalent for Mac and would meet the demands of covering a high-pressure event like the Family Conference.
