I’d say the second crop is better. It shows the rest of the wall that was cropped off in the first version.
It may just be my computer monitor, but to me, the picture looks a bit over-processed. I’d be curious to know, did you manually process this in Lightroom, or did you use a preset? I have found a few free presets for Lightroom that I like, but they often overdo the saturation, sharpening, contrast, and so on, so I usually edit them a little to make them more to my taste.
