Haha, sorry @blessingscaptured, that no one has replied to your question here. Evidently nobody has many good experiences with off-brand batteries. 🙂
I don’t have much more experience than I did back then, but I can tell you that Powerextra are not working too well for me… they loose charge quite quickly. But since I have several of them, I just keep swapping them out and I guess it’s about the same as having a Canon battery. I do have some Canon batteries that came with the cameras that I’ve purchased, and no surprise, and they perform very well.
