Wow! That is a beautiful shot! There’s something about the lighting that makes it look like it’s glowing in the middle. It’s nice and sharp too! (Of course, on a picture like this, it’s hard to tell if it’s sharp or not without pixel-peeping)
One thing about it though, it’s a very common pose for a rose. I know how hard it is to find a different angle/composition that really looks good. Here are some attempts of mine a while back to get a “different” rose picture. I was experimenting with different lighting, and I never really did get what I was aiming for, but these are the results.
