I like this perspective of the buildings. The only perspective I’ve had the privilege of seeing is from the other side. Didn’t know it looked like this in the “back yard”. Is this shot from the road?
This shot looks more like a painting than it does a photograph. Though you’ve done an excellent job of eliminating halos around the edges of the building against the sky, the HDR effect is much to strong for my liking. The saturated color of the roof and unnatural green color of the trees is not appealing to me.
I like to use the extreme side of HDR more when stone or wood fill the primary portion of the image frame and where I won’t get unnatural “after affects”. Stone looks especially cool in my opinion. There’s just not enough of it in this image to make it work.
