@blessingscaptured, how much are your files worth to you? I’ve heard good things about https://www.300dollardatarecovery.com/ but thankfully I’ve never had to use their services yet.
@charlesiv do you have any experience with drives like this? I was going to suggest booting a LiveCD with testdisk on it or something, to see if it would be able to mount a drive which Windows can’t and keep it on long enough to copy off the most important files. But if the beeping is due to mechanical failure, than that won’t help any, and could make it worse, (which is why I recommended keeping it unplugged until we get a better understanding of the problem).
According to this article, a beeping noise is a common issue with these small Seagate drives that have been damaged somehow, and will likely need professional repair.
