Springtime Dreams
Whene’er I am alone,
In the quiet of Thine own nature,
And in the still of the day
When the sweet breezes fly;
I drink in the wind and the air
And am filled with rapture;
Heaven seems nearer,
Memories pass softly by.
Only in the Spring
I feel this lovely feeling
And all that is beautiful and good in this world
I think of.
Like a dream when one is half awakened
Or finds healing
I am refreshed in soul and body
By the Creator above.
