Do I need to upload my photos to the Dropbox link as well? Or is it okay as long as they upload here without being downsized? Thanks!
March Downunder
What does the month of March mean to you? Here in the picturesquely scenic region of Tasman, New Zealand, March ushers in the cooler months with an assortment of snappy, then summer-like mornings, a host of fruit to harvest and preserve, and the first trees beginning to turn bright red and Autumn-brown, before releasing their leaves to spin and flutter to the ground.
The large ensemble of fruit that the month of March heralds in includes apples and pears ripening on the wild, heritage trees in the organic orchard up the hillside, as well as peaches, walnuts, feijoas, grapes, and quinces that ripen on urban trees.
Bags, boxes, and baskets are filled with the abundance of the fruit that comes right from the Creator’s hand. Before long, the shelf is filled with jars of preserves, and homemade fruit vinegars ferment in the kitchen, as well as bottles of homemade bolied grape juice. The sound of the dehydrator preserving the flavour and nutrition of the ripe fruitage is yet another element found in March. Take the time to scout around your place this month, and explore March in your corner of the globe!
