At least in my experience, balloons turned out to be a more difficult than anticipated assignment. There are some great entries! I especially liked ones with something on the balloons – smiley face, paw prints, or even simple check marks. I especially like James’ shot with the dark background. I too overlooked the preference for vertical (portrait?) or square photos – until after taking the pictures, of course!
What did I learn from this exercise? Indoor lighting (even on sunny days) is typically insufficient for ISO-100 tack sharp photos. The iPhone camera (XS) I have isn’t high enough quality to do significant crops and still have a good quality picture. Balloons tend to move – the slightest air current.. – and pop! 🙂
