Love the black background and also the choice of leaves to shoot. Not your typical “perfect”, spotless, vivid-color maple leaf.
There’s not much reflection from your flash, but it is noticeable along the edges of the larger leaves. Would a polarizer help with this? I noticed that the shadow cast by the smallest leaf onto the top-most leaf isn’t that “harsh”. How are you diffusing the flash?
