I decided to focus on two of my favorite thanksgiving dishes- sweet potatoes, and green bean casserole. I experimented with using bounce light from my speedlight combined with window light. (I’m attaching a picture of my set up to help explain). A difficult aspect for me was to get the vertical lines to look vertical. A tripod helped a lot.
Also, because I had only a small area to work, I tried to use small versions of all the elements.
A special thanks goes to my sister for making her green bean casserole for me! We’re planning on submitting the picture and recipe to Nature Friend Magazine. It’ll be exciting if it get published there.
