Hello, as the new year starts, I am looking for a way to fully glorify God with my work and evangelize through the gift given to me. As a 16 year old, I often find myself comparing myself to other photographers. I was praying for my “word of the year” and I got intention. Reading your message, the purpose of photography struck me like lightning. I’ve been insecure with my shooting, taking pictures just to be liked and to be praised. I say I want it for the glory of God, but I’ve been doing it for my own self gain and worth as a young photographer. You are truly a blessing for revealing my fault to me. I want to be intentional with my work while really glorifying God with my work. Talking about the difference between showing off God’s creation and your own gain is so beautiful to see. I never thought of it that way. Anyways, thank you so much and I hope that you find yourself well in this new year.
