Oh, just noticed the lovely shadow on the church from the tree branches! That adds another lovely element to the photo. 🙂 I see what your saying with the natural slope of the ground! I guess what I am seeing is the stair entry and tree are such focal points that my eye is thrown a bit when they aren’t maintaining a nice line. I would recommend making the steps and base of the tree as horizontal and without a slope as possible. I took a screen shot in lightroom which will hopefully explain what I am thinking of! 🙂
