It’s interesting that you were trying to convey a feeling of loneliness with this shot, because I had already felt that the image you captured on the hill near Mt. Clare that you titled “Frosty Throne”, portrayed a sense of loneliness. I think this picture does convey loneliness, although “Frosty Throne” to me is more effective in doing so because of the wide open emptiness which seems to create a feeling of smallness and being alone in a big, barren world. I can sense loneliness in this particular photo, but I can also easily imagine that a cozy home is waiting for me just beyond the trees. With the wide open feeling of “Frosty Throne”, it seems as if there is no civilization around anywhere.
