Hey guys, if you’ve been looking at Affinity Photo/Designer/Publisher this is a good time to purchase. Affinity is offering all 3 products for 50% off right now, as well as a free 90 day trial for those who still want to kick the tires. You’re not likely to see a deal like that very often!
Here are some threads that mention Affinity, if you’re interested in learning more about it:

March 26, 2020 at 5:51 pm #49726Ernest LloydParticipantWow, I would totally recommend Affinity Photo to anyone who doesn’t have Photoshop.
I used it as my photo editor before I got Photoshop. It definitely is not a photo organizer like Lightroom, but it works great as an alternative to Photoshop. What kind of a deal is this, $25!! I would say this is a great upgrade from Gimp.March 27, 2020 at 12:59 pm #49752Logan LamarParticipantI would say this is a great upgrade from Gimp.
Uh, yeah. No contest.
Oh! And while I’m here—if you’re looking for a Lightroom alternative, ON1 is also 50% off. You can get one of the greatest alternatives to Lightroom (in my opinion), for $50 one time (you’ll pay for upgrades in 2021, but nothing’s stopping you from keeping this version forever.

That’s the understatement of the year!! 🙂 Affinity is WAY ahead of GIMP in terms of lossless editing, and polished interface, and features. I never looked back at GIMP after biting the bullet and purchasing Affinity.

I have LR and Photoshop so didn’t need the editing software, but one of my sisters and I had generally been looking into finding a design program (like Publisher) but weren’t wanting to spend a lot on it. Well, this made it a no-brainer when we saw it would only be $25 and you could install it on multiple personal computers!
Just so everyone else knows, Affinity has extended the deadline from April 20th to May 20th, so the deal is still available!
