I was in Alaska a few weeks ago and shot these before I knew what the assignment was. For the sunrise shot I would normally use a warmer white balance, but I thought it would look more “wintery” with a cooler white balance.

It was fun to see that so many new submissions had come in when I came to check the thread today! I was driving back from Quebec over the weekend, almost 1000 miles, and wasn’t keeping up with the forums. So many great photos! Will have to think about how I’m going to critique them tomorrow….
