It’s a good thing to critique your own pictures sometimes. Here’s a shot from CAPTURE Quebec. The weather didn’t cooperate at all and we had cloudy skies and old snow most of the week. But despite the circumstances, I like this shot because it’s the only one free of clutter from that morning. It’s using forced perspective too, as I was up as close to the footprint as I could focus. There was definitely some color in the sky which, as you know, I could only pull out using the gradient overlay tool. But as it looks a little too uniform to me, perhaps spending some time with the brush tool would add more color contrast.
