We were driving home from the library, when we saw some coloring in the sky that indicated quite a serious sunset. I knew there was a good outlook just a mile or two away, so I’m afraid I exceeded the speed limit a little to get there before it disappeared! Anyway, I managed to grab these shots before I had to leave.
Taken with my “new” Pentax K-5 DSLR
First Picture
Shutter Speed: 1/30
Aperture: f/4
ISO Speed: 400
Focal length: 28mm
Second Picture
Shutter Speed: 1/60
Aperture: f/4
ISO Speed: 400
Focal length: 24mm
To me, this picture really illustrates the superior dynamic range that the Pentax K-5 is capable of. According to snapsort.com, when comparing the K-5 to the Canon 5D MkII it is as follows:
Dynamic range — 14.1 EV vs 11.9 EV — 2.2 f-stops more dynamic range
