Partly @buddingphotographer, I was also looking for all the “back and forth” posts that I went through before I finally got to the right water drop photograph. But for now, what you posted is fine!! Thanks for looking!! 🙂
Hi, @Sarah and @ryan, Actually, It took me about 6 months to get that particular picture with trial and error. It wasn’t a quick take!!
Here is a pictures of the set up, and BTW, I did not have the lap top on when I took it!! 🙂 I’ll try to tell you all the settings.

Here are some water drop pictures!! 🙂
This picture I took early the other morning, though I’m still having trouble with finding a “pink” sky.
Anyway, I decided I’d submit it anyway in case it’s close enough!! 🙂
Here are my submissions of a sunset!! 🙂 Though, it may be too yellow, so would you prefer it pinker?
I may have some “pinkish” pictures for you if these are too yellow!! 🙂
Here is a “sample” of the first picture I got showing the whole schoolhouse, though unedited! After I saw the two pictures, I also realized that I should have taken more time to get it just right!! I would like to get one more photo shoot sometime soon if I can!! 🙂
I agree with you Ezra. Next time I will try to keep that in mind. I think at the time, I was just trying to keep the cars out of the picture, or any messy snow banks!! 🙂
Yes, @loganlamar the head-on one is also my favorite too!! Feel free to send some warm weather this way!! It’s been really cold this winter, I think the lowest here was -24 degrees!!
Here are some shots of a schoolhouse near me. The only reason I didn’t get the other side of it was because, being Saturday, the parking lot was full of cars. When I saw that it was full, I said to myself, “Well then, now I have to think like a photographer” and try to get special angles without getting any cars in the picture! I’m hoping there…[Read more]
Thank you So much David, it actually worked!! That will be really nice now to change the settings to what I want them to be!
Thank you! 🙂
I agree with you @ryan, though again the more I raise the shutter speed, the ISO would rise with it. So hopefully will figure out how to fix that.
Just the other day, I had a splendid opportunity to take some pictures of mid air flying birds. It was so exciting to come back with some quite unique pictures that I felt like sharing with you all!! Sometimes it’s hard to get birds in mid air, but I looked for open skies with trees around, and watched for any birds that flew out from the trees.…[Read more]
Thank you @dan-cope, you just gave me something to work with for my next sunset! This picture would have looked really neat if there was a silhouette as the subject!! It wasn’t too long after I got a few of these pictures that the sunset wasn’t so bright anymore, but I am thankful I was able to capture as much as I did and be able to learn more…[Read more]
I would love to get any input on how to take sunset pictures better. I heard most photographers don’t care to judge sunset pictures because people don’t know how to take them. This sunset was disappearing quite quickly, so we had a moment to stop and capture the scenery!!
Let me know how I can improve, because there seems to be many…[Read more]
One thing that I forgot, is the description of what the settings are.
Here are the settings for the Bumble Bee picture.

Here is my latest photographed picture. Viewing the picture after I took it, I was happy to find that there was a natural vignette mainly around the top of the picture!! 🙂
Any further thoughts or suggestions on how to take this picture better?
A Peek into three Schoolhouses. None of these are edited and there are many more different angles that I took of these schoolhouses, but I wanted to enter one each so that we can focus on one at a time if needed!!
Let me know what you think.
Hello, Here is a picture I took earlier this summer. Butterflies sometimes are really hard to photograph because they’re always on the move!
Let me know if there’s any better way I could have taken it!

Wow! I just came across your email saying you mentioned me in a status!! Emails are very helpful!! 🙂 Thank you for putting that video together!! That will help whenif I get a chance to clean my lens. I also may see about going to our local camera shop, depending on prices!!
Do you remember the kit you gave me? Is that not as good, or at least…[Read more]
