Super useful since older Macs hate certain formats and really slow down when loading large files.</p>

For more advanced edits though, I used Preview surprisingly often, just for cropping, resizing, and annotations.</p>

For most digital uses, like sharing online or emailing, you can usually get away with a lower quality setting (like 70-80%) and still have it look great. Also, 300 PPI is overkill for digital viewing.
