Hi! I’m James Staddon, a landscape, event, and wedding photographer from West Virginia.

I know how it feels to travel to an amazing location, take some beautiful pictures, and then…oh no! be horrified with how the photos look on my computer at home.

I understand how frustrating it is to not know which camera setting to use as I try to capture those fleeting moments happening in front of me.

But God’s creation is so amazing, and the beauty around us has motived me to push through and learn how to take pictures that I’m excited to share with others. Many people have inspired and trained me, and I’m so excited to pass on this experience to you through Lenspiration.

I love watching students get comfortable with their camera, learn how to “think like a photographer”, and start taking stunning photos. Through the assignments, workshops, and coaching offered by Lenspiration, I hope to inspire and train photographers to take pictures for God’s glory!

Do I need to have a fancy digital camera to benefit from Lenspiration?

Not necessarily! Many of the photography principles we cover apply to any camera —even a phone. However, most of the material presented is from the standpoint of a DSLR, so people get the most out of the training if they have a DSLR, mirrorless, or bridge camera.

If you do not have one of these type of cameras yet, that's ok. We have resources that will help you learn how to buy the camera that's right for you.

Isn't it expensive to get into photography?

It doesn't have to be! We provide resources that will help you learn how to determine what equipment fits your needs best, and then how to find the best deal when you're ready to buy it.

Will I learn how to make money with photography?

Yes. And on the forums, there are photographers with years of experience making money with their cameras that can help answer any specific questions that you might have about your specific entrepreneurial pursuits.

Is the membership for only one person or can more than one person in the same household use it at the same price?

Subscription is for the whole family! There will be some things you'll have to reset for the next person (like course quizzes), but no need to pay for multiple subscriptions for multiple members of your immediate family, even if they are not living under the same roof!
