DESCRIPTION:An educational field day for anyone who loves taking photos! \nStart approaching your photography like a pro by learning the secrets to epic outdoor portrait photography! Easy\, fun\, and hands-on with time to practice\, practice\, practice under the guidance and support of a professional portrait photographer\, a Photography Field Day will help you learn specific portraiture photography techniques in the classroom of creation. Photographers of all experience levels are welcome! \nGeared for high-school-aged beginner photographers\, it doesn’t matter what camera you have. With a theme of “Outdoor Portrait Photography”\, walk away knowing how to: \n\nmake beautiful background bokeh\nphotograph people at any time of day\nutilize available light\narrange people using 4 basic posing methods\ncapture genuine smiles\nuse the best camera settings for portraiture\nchoose a good portrait photography lens\nand more! There’s so much you can do with your camera! Learn how to make the most of it.\n\nDetails\nTuition:  \n\n$60/photographer\nBecome a Lenspiration member and get an extra $10 off!\n\nLocation: South Park in Central City\, Nebraska. Let’s meet at the gravel parking lot at about this location\, where 26th St. meets 17th Ave. \nSchedule: This will be an afternoon/evening workshop. Eat a hearty lunch and meet up at 1pm. We’ll cover as much as we can and then practice what we’ve learned until 6pm. \nMeals: Bring a snack if you’d like. No meals will be provided. \nWeather: Let’s pray for beautiful\, clear weather. Be sure to check the weather beforehand\, though\, just in case it’s rainy or colder than normal for a typical afternoon outside. If it’s going to be rainy\, bring a rain jacket and an umbrella . . . they actually make for great portraiture props! With a theme of “Outdoor Special Effects”\, walk away knowing how to: \n\ncapture light trails\nmake beautiful blurry backgrounds\ncreate the pro starburst effect\nphotograph the soft\, silky water effect\nharness the technique of “panning”\nstart shooting in Manual\nphotograph the stars for those who can stay late!\nand more! There’s so much you can do with your camera! Learn how to make the most of it.\n\nDetails\nTuition:  \n\n$60/photographer\nBecome a Lenspiration member and get an extra $10 off!\n\nLocation: South Park in Central City\, Nebraska. Let’s meet at the gravel parking lot at about this location\, where 26th St. meets 17th Ave. \nSchedule: This will be an evening workshop. Grab an early dinner and meet up at 5pm. We’ll cover as much as we can while it’s light\, then move on to night-time special effects as we move from sunset into dusk. For those who can stay late\, we’ll shoot the stars after it gets completely dark\, ending at around 10pm. \nMeals: Feel free to bring things to snack on. No meals will be provided. \nWeather: Let’s pray for beautiful\, clear weather\, with maybe some puffy pink clouds for a special touch at sunset. Be sure to check the weather beforehand\, though\, just in case it’s rainy or colder than normal for a typical evening outside. It never hurts to dress in layers in case of unexpected cooler temperatures\, and you might want to bring an extra pair of socks/shoes in case they get wet.
