With jpeg you need to nail your exposure, but shouldn&#8217;t we anyway? And honestly, I like the way my jpegs turn out better. I may shoot a RAW or two under certain circumstances, but that is it. </p>

It is a 4x zoom. Yet a 10-100mm is a 10x zoom. A 10-200mm is a 20x zoom. Simple multiplication. Otherwise I wouldn&#8217;t understand it. &#x1f642;</p>

Once inside, I place it over the furnace duct to speed up the warming process so my camera is not tied up forever. <p>I&#8217;ve used other Neewer equipment, it is cheap. Can&#8217;t say I advise it for a tripod. A tripod is something that needs to be good. I&#8217;ve never tried the Neewer, but it is not a quality brand. </p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Raw is a file format just as JPEG is. The difference is that jpeg is compressed and RAW isn&#8217;t. </p>
<p>For example. If you took a picture that had a lot of very dark in one area, jpeg would compress it all and call it black. Same with whites. Raw saves every pixel just as it is taken. This allows much more flexibility in editing.</p>

Just because I don&#8217;t like image manipulation much doesn&#8217;t mean you can&#8217;t like it. =) If it is a tool you like to use, then use it! Each photographer has to develop there own style, and this is likely part of that style.<br />

I have no problem with healing out a few defects, (or flies on a deer) but when it comes to sewing images together I never really feel comfortable sharing them publicly because it is not real life. I shot 30 Raw frames at:<br />
 ISO 6400<br />
 F/3.5<br />
 10 sec<br />
 18mm<br />
Then, I ran them through a few editing programs, thanks to <a href="https://www.lenspiration.com/members/buddingphotographer/" rel="nofollow ugc">@buddingphotographer</a> for the code!!! And then finished the editing in Lightroom. <p>This firefly shot is an example of stacking. I shot 200 30-second exposures, and them stacked them all up.</p>

As of now, I would see Photoshop as being nearly useless to me, as I have GIMP for things that Lightroom can&#8217;t do. (stacking, etc&#8230;) And I would tend to think that Lightroom will be good enough to edit pictures for years, so renting would be much more expensive. We get to watch Canada&#8217;s fireworks on the 1st, and US&#8217;s on the 4th. =) At the Canadian ones, I was shooting across a river so there was opportunity for reflection. But there was a bit of wind so the water was not calm. As for the photography. 									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The starburst looks great! One thing though, I noticed there are several spots in the picture. It could either be dirt on your lens or your sensor. Either way, it would probably be could to find the dirt and remove it. As for this pic, you could remove them with a healing brush.</p>
<p>P.S. Is that a purple martin house?</p>
