I’m thinking about going with ON1… I’m giving it a thirty day trial run right now.

If you want as sturdy as possible while being as light as possible, go with Carbon Fiber.

For a starter tripod, the Neewer one has good reviews for being as cheap as it is.

Check out Affinity Photo as an alternative to Photoshop, @melaniethomsen. It’s one-time $50 and @buddingphotographer has expressed how positively better it is than GIMP.
