@rmadaris Perhaps using the rule of thirds a bit more? It would be neat to see if you could get the side of the cup too like @joshua_ong mentioned. Also I might try turning the cup so that the handle is pointing in a different direction — perhaps pointing more towards the top left hand corner… I like the tablecloth! 🙂

@oksch, I know – the sunlight is pretty harsh. I suppose I could have had her pose under a different tree…. The rule of thirds is something to have considered. And yes, she is cute! 😀 @JamesStaddon it is. 😀 Yes, I asked April to pose there. I tried resetting the focus-do any of these look better?

@dan-cope, it probably is just an opinion on my part, so of course yours is certainly welcome! I never thought about it keeping someone’s attention, but now that I think about it, you are probably right. 🙂

@dan-cope, I see how adds some variety, but don’t you think it takes away from the subject? Maybe it’s just me… 😕 🙂

@oksch, probably the grass was what I was mostly trying to have as the subject…. would have preferred if the rock had not been there… I wish it had been a little more in focus too. Don’t you think it looks a little blurry?
