That’s really interesting, those folks sitting in the basketball court….are they having devotions? It’s not a usual time for folks to be out. 🙂 If so, and you know them and you still keep your distance as not to distract them too much, I think it would be super awesome to try to incorporate them more. I think there’s enough ambient light that the entire foreground wouldn’t need to be completely black. And the people are sitting on the blank pavement so their silhouettes come off easily against the background. I’m not sure how I would do it, but I can envision maybe the fence and hoop being much closer and playing elements of silhouette in the sky. From my experience on mission trips, it’s really hard to get clean foregrounds, so it forces me to figure out ways to incorporate what’s there in a purposeful way.
