There was a certain setting I was using when I shot it that I can&#8217;t remember (it may have been bracketing), but that may be what caused it.</p>

<p>Strictly speaking on the photography side of things, you can see how the second image is considerably lower in quality due to the high ISO and lack of tack sharpness. The dramatic decrease in available light as compared to the first image is probably to blame. </p>

Golden hour is so much more than just warm light. I&#8217;m not sure that Photos has a downsize option. I always use Preview or GIMP for downsizing mine. <a href="https://www.lenspiration.com/members/buddingphotographer/" rel="nofollow ugc">@buddingphotographer</a> &#8216;s link looks like what I do with preview. 🙂</p>
