I am 16 years old and I became interested in photography when I was 13. I am a advanced beginner who is looking to be a better photographer. I love photographing flowers and sunsets but am starting a family photography business.
I been trying to get the find ways to advertise my business, my website is not doing the job very well and I can’t pay for anything really unless it’s very inexpensive.
Do any of you use FaceBook? My family doesn’t use social media but I’m willing to learn how. Are there any platforms that you guys use to get the word out that you’re in…[Read more]
That’s a very interesting photo! I really like how you focused just on the sign with the nice bokeh. One thing I would change is maybe position yourself more so that the sign is more centered, because for a little bit your eyes just kind of float around looking for something that’s in focus until you find the sign.
I took these yesterday and would like to know what you all think of them. I still have the block of wood so if you have any suggestions I can take them again.
I used the one camera flash for both pictures.
The settings where the same for both.
Okay, For individual portraits just keep in mind the rule of thirds so if the person is facing left keep their head on the right of the frame etc. I don’t have very much experience with groups but something I’ve found that helps keep it organized looking is to create diagonal lines with peoples heads and also triangles if that makes sense. 🙂 Try…[Read more]
Good job getting everything in focus! Those peppers look tasty 🙂
Personally I would try getting a lower angle and kind of to the side with the peppers going out of focus at the end to create a more “artistic” photo.
I’ve been learning how to add text and stuff to my pictures with photoshop elements and am really enjoying putting bible verses on them. 🙂 These are my favorites so far. Any advice how I could make them better would be awesome.
I was playing around with some of my light painting things and a vase the other day and would like to know what you guys think of it.
The shutter was open for 42 seconds
P.S This doubled as a physics experiment. 🙂
I’ve never done groups that big, but personally I would use the 18-55mm instead of the 50mm because then you can zoom out if you need to. I think you should probably use an aperture of 15 or more to make sure of having things in focus.
I’m in no way a pro or anything 🙂 but that’s what I would do. Hope that helps!
Wow! I really like those 🙂 The only thing I would change on the first one crop it in so you can’t see the second horse because it’s kind of distracting from the main subject. And the second photo is pretty with the way the fog shows up but there is so much going on (the horse, the trees) that it just isn’t that eye grabbing of a picture.
Just an…[Read more]
I bought my Apple laptop from this place. http://www.kineticcomputerstores.com
Apple is nice because you don’t have to pay for any internet protection. I use mine for all my editing and I really like it.
