fantails are quite common we have them in our back yard now and then, from what I’ve seen they seem to like to be in pairs a bit
I didn’t know they were part of the corvid family tho, thats quite interesting.

I got a new camera because my old one broke but that means I don’t have a telephoto lens that can fit on my new camera
and I defiantly don’t have money to bye a new lens
any tips to photograph birds with only an 18-45mm lens or is it impossible?

I live in New Zealand, and the only birds of prey we have are hawks. Where i live it is very difficult to even see a hawk let alone take a good photo of one. I’m wondering if you have any advice on how to go about this. I know I could go to a regional park, with the potential to spot a hawk, but the likelihood is still quite low. Do you have any tips and tricks on how to go about this? Any help would be much appreciated, thank you. 😊
